Stopped by ACS today as Al and Scott wanted to discuss the front brakes. They have the front suspension just about out of the car but found a small leak in the left front caliper. It looks like the rotors are at the end as well. We decided to install new Calipers (about the same cost for new as for a rebuild considering the labor) also go with new rotors and pads. There really isn’t much left to replace on this car !!!!
I’m hoping to get it back in my garage before any snow comes. It is pretty unusual not to have any snow at all this late in the season hopefully it will hold off for a few weeks.

Went over to ACS today. The front end is Done – Just need shocks!!! Everything is new and Scott bead blasted, primed and painted all the suspension components while they were out. It really looks terrific with all new components – down to bolts, washers and nuts.
Scott has ordered a new set of front and rear shocks and has decided to go with GAZ. He did a lot of research on these and ordered them from RIMMER Bros. – Scott said they were very helpful in providing technical info on the GAZ shocks. One nice feature is that the shocks are adjustable without removal from the car.
Also the fuel tank is done – inside and out. It looks brand new and Scott also prepared the sheet metal in the tank area and painted with a couple of coats of Rust Bullet “Black Shell”. It all looks great.
Should not be much longer and I can start on the interior.
